About our club
Fudoushin is the spirit of maintaining focus and a calm, relaxed state of mind even in dangerous or stressful situations. It promotes learning how to effectively defend one's self while fostering non-aggression at the same time. At our Aikido club we strive to create a supportive environment where students develop their minds and bodies to become strong leaders and conscientious individuals.
Our dojo here in Calgary Alberta is a member club of the Canadian Aikido Federation (CAF) under the technical direction of Hayato Oasawa shihan (8th dan). You can find us in the Oakridge Room at the Southland Leisure Centre.
